Hello, my name is Mark Rusak from Calabasas High School and I'm part of the class of 2022. As a tennis player, I strive to reach the goalsthat I want to achieve. I seek to play at the best colleges in the UnitedStates with a great team and organization that can help me improveas a human and as a tennis player. If I ever had a oppurtunity to playprofessionally, I would seize that moment. In a tennis team, a player needs to be a team player but also a skilled individual as well that can boost the team and bringattention to them. Another important asset for college teams wouldbe having good doubles players which is my specialty. Although my tennis skills support my reason for being a good candidate, however, I present traits such as being a good teammate by believing in team work, and having strong determination. While not the smartest, Iam still passing with more of average grades. I have a large experience of competitive match play from being on ajunior tennis team when I was younger to still playing USTAtournaments from all the way 2013. Although those are USTA, I had agreat impact freshman year playing number 1 doubles on a talentedhigh school team that went on to win our Maramonte league and tobring Calabasas High to CIF for the first time in 20 something years. Iended up being on the 1st team (doubles) in the league.
