Dear Coaches,
I am writing to express my interest in playing tennis for your college team and to share with you my goals for my collegiate career. I just started to play tennis, going on 2 1/2 years, and I take it very seriously. I am extremely hardworking, dedicated, and always strive to improve my skills. I believe that my strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team player mentality make me an excellent candidate for your team. I understand that being a part of a successful college tennis team, requires not only individual excellence, but, also, the ability to work with teammates. I am always willing to go above and beyond to support my teammates and contribute to the overall success of the team.
In terms of what makes me different from other recruits, I believe that my character, athleticism, and athletics help me with that. On the court, Im always looking to improve my game. I am disciplined, focused, and never-give-up attitude that allows me to compete at the highest level. Off the court, I am responsible and reliable. I have a proven track record of balancing my academic and athletic responsibilities, and I understand the importance of maintaining a high level of academic performance while also competing at the highest level. In conclusion, I am eager to contribute my skills and talents to your college tennis team and to work hard towards achieving our goals. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my application with you further.
