Dear Coaches,
I am very glad and fortunate that there are people that would support me in tennis. If it weren't for them, I would have never made it to sectionals my junior year. I started playing tennis pretty late during the start of my freshman year. I have not gotten any private training nor a private coach, which proved to be more difficult; however, my passion and determination for tennis only grew. I have been working very hard, watched countless of tennis videos to learn and try to catch up on lost time that I could have been improving when I was young. Practicing by myself if I have to. I want to play at the collegiate level and see how far I can make it. Hopefully, I can inspire people that it’s not too late to play this sport. I want to enhance and hone my skills to see where the summit of my abilities from hard work can take me. I am working diligently to acquire as much experience as possible as that’s the main factor that differentiates me from the other players. I know this sport is mentally and physically taxing but I won’t give up the struggle and lose heart to the sport I love.
Thank you,
Yurro V. Zabala
