I have been an athlete since I was four years old, playing both baseball and soccer. When I was six years old my father decided to have me try tennis, at one of our local tennis camps, and it was a natural fit. In 6th grade I decided to try out for my schools High School Varsity team. It was a long shot, but with very strong determination, I made the team. My Middle School years would prove to be a great training ground, as well as a team building experience for me. I played tournaments for most of my middle school years.
In the Fall of 2016, I made my school's soccer team. I continued practicing tennis, but stopped playing tournaments, as most of my time was consumed by my soccer schedule. I did continue to play on the school tennis team that year. In 2018, as a Freshman on our school's team my doubles partner and I made it as Individuals to State. We made it to the finals, where we lost. This experience reintroduced me back fully into the world of tennis, and I am committed to put all my efforts back into the game.
I am starting again to play USTA and UTR tournaments. My goal is to play collegiate level tennis. As I begin my Sophomore year, I am working hard to achieve this goal through hard work, determination as well as improve my ranking.
