I am a good candidate for playing tennis at the collegiate level for many reasons. Throughout high school, I have failed many times, yet I have always picked myself up and worked harder on the next phase of life, even if it meant completely changing sports. This has taught me hard work as I had to spend extra hours to get up to the skill level of others. During this process, I have learned more what it means to be a team player, because sometimes I may win, but our team loses and I must still show my full support to each and every teammate. I work hard to manage my grades and keep them as high as I possibly can and I work hard on the courts multiple times a week with my private coach regardless of time or temperature. I believe with my hard work athletically, and my dedication to the classroom, that I would be a great fit for any college team.
