My name is Ibrahim Kayanda, I stand at 6'2" and weigh 180lbs. Currently a junior at Meadowcreek High School. I come from a family of athletes that had me develop a love for sports. Growing up I played multiple, Basketball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Martial Arts, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cross Country and Track. I enjoyed playing those sports but when I entered High School, I discovered Tennis. The moment I picked up a racket I knew that this was my sport. I have the most fun playing this sport and even when I first started, i already had the basics down because of my experiences with other sports. I started playing at 14 and overtime I had developed a huge love and passion for it. Now I'm almost 17 and realizing that this is what I need to do, this is my future, this is who I am. I trained my body, mind, and the sport through after school practices, private coaching over the summer, and even on my own for almost 3 years. I truly live for this sport and I'm determined to play on the next level and even the levels after that. I always wanted to bring back to my community and I believe that college and Tennis is my path in order make that dream a reality.
