Josh Hembree '21 Recruiting Profile

While I have played other sports like Soccer and Baseball and showed promise,  I have never been as passionate about playing  a sport as much as Tennis.   I enjoy playing for my high school getting better with each late practice and hearing from my coaches on where I need to improve from match to match.   I have found that I learn and have improved the most by playing the best opponents possible even when their skill level and experience is higher than mine. These situations combined with long close games teach me more and more about making adjustments to win the match.  As team Captain I enjoy sharing what I have learned with my teammates to make the team the best we can be. I look forward to finding the right University where I can apply these skills and fulfill my goals of continuing my focus on Mathematics while playing the sport I love most
