Personal Statement

I am a senior at Our Lady of Providence High School in Clarksville, Indiana. My Catholic education has taught me the value of hard work, service to others, character and drive both on the court and in the classroom.  As a true student-athlete I realize academics are as important as my athletic accomplishments so I challenge myself with AP and Honors classes and maintaining an unweighted 3.9 GPA.
I’ve competed at the varsity level in tennis, basketball and baseball, but tennis is now my sole athletic focus.  My love for tennis as a player and a fan is because it signifies patience, strategy, self-discipline and a hard work ethic in order to succeed.  I pride myself on being coachable and committed, but also a great teammate.
My goal is to achieve the same student-athlete success at a college where I can earn a 4-year degree, contribute to the success of a dynamic tennis team and continue with post-graduate studies.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
