I love playing tennis and have a strong desire to improve. I played #2 and #1 doubles as a Freshman. I then trained hard over the next year to improve my skills and get better, competing in 3 tournaments over the summer and earned the #2 varsity singles spot as a sophomore. I trained again in the off-season and competed in several USTA tournaments at 18u and earned the #1 singles position last year where I won 12 matches, made All-Conference Honorable Mention, qualified for the Individual State tournament, and earned team MVP. This season, I am currently 15-2 at #1 singles, was team and conference MVP, and qualified for the Individual State tournament. I have made the decision that I want to attend college and earn a scholarship for tennis. I understand I have a lot more work to do to and am willing to put in the time and effort to achieve my goals. I will continue training with South Bend Tennis Academy and will be playing in USTA 18u tournaments every month. I get good grades, work hard at tennis, and have a good attitude. I analyze my game and work hard to improve. I believe that I would be a good student, good teammate, and a valuable member of any college program.
