Jake Brown '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations consist of working hard and being dedicated on and off the court. When I graduate from college, I want to be able to say that I received a degree in my desired major as well as being part of a program that wins championships. I am a great candidate for your team because I always bring the fire, the passion, and the energy necessary in order to succeed. I have a willingness to work and a cerebral approach to the game of tennis. I consider myself to be a team player and I try to motivate my teammates to always strive for better. Also, I consider myself to be a great athlete on the court: getting balls back, staying within rallies, etc. To give you an example of my character, I'm usually not the type of person who parties every Friday and Saturday nights, but instead, I take that time to improve my game, but physically and mentally. When it comes down to academics and athletics, I am 100% focused on the task at hand. These are the reasons why I feel like I am a great candidate for your team.
