Davis Borders '23 Recruiting Profile

It is my dream to play college tennis. I want to be a student -athlete in college because I have seen the advantages this affords through graduation and beyond. It builds a responsible, goal oriented leader that excels in a career and in life. 

I have had to overcome a lot already, dealing with a chronic, recurring illness my sophomore and junior years which hindered my ability to improve , play matches, and maintain a higher UTR. The past 8 months of recovery, I have worked hard on my game in hopes of having a chance to play tennis at a collegiate level. 

I am smart, work very hard and self motivated to follow my goals and dreams . I’m looking for a coach and a program I can call my “home away from home “- that continues to build and improve my game. I will commit to make our team the best it can be. I’m just asking for an opportunity.
