March 2022Personal Statement
I have been playing tennis since I was in elementary school, first playing in our local school summer camps. My love for tennis grew exponentially when I became a member at the Danville Tennis Center. I have improved my game through hours of practice and working one on one with the tennis pros at the club, while also improving my mental toughness.
My dedication to tennis has given me more motivation to do my best in school and other aspects of my life. I was awarded the Most Improved Award for my Varsity tennis team during my sophomore season after working hard on and off season. Tennis is a sport that I look forward to enjoying for the rest of my life.
I want to attend a college or university where I can be challenged both academically and athletically. My ultimate goal is to have a successful college career that leads to a successful and happy life.
