Personal Statement
My name is Santiago Soto, I am 16 years old and a student athlete looking for an opportunity to play at the collegiate level in the fall of 2024.
I have been playing tennis in my country since I was 5 years old and I consider myself a hard-working athlete and a very good student. I am currently rated around 10.67 UTR in singles and 10.78 UTR in doubles. In addition, I have participated in several tennis tournaments in my state, as well as regional, national and international such as COSAT, ITF, USTA. In those tournaments I had the opportunity to reach the finals, semifinals and win several championships, both in singles and doubles.
I can bring my great competitiveness and desire to win to your team, committing myself to work hard both on and off the tennis court. I would appreciate a very good scholarship offer because my parents cannot afford my tuition.
