- My British Men‘s National senior rank is 149
My name is Leonardo Santoro-Fergusson, 18 and 6'4, currently attending Reading School in the UK. Due to the nature of my father being a tennis coach I have been involved in the sport from a very young age, but decided to make the commitment to competition at the age of 8; becoming a LTA Level 1 Coach in the process. Over the following years my father has helped me develop into a technically adept all-court player, making me eternally grateful for his dedication. Since then, I have gone on to compete at National Level and am currently ranked 198 in the UK for Men's Tennis. In the next couple of months, I want to start my British Tour journey to push myself to the next level. Looking even further ahead, I believe the college that would the best fit for me would be one that can help me to continue pushing my tennis forwards while still offering superior academics. After college, my goal is to play on the international circuit, meaning that any college would benefit from my serious, committed nature.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement and I look forward to talking to you.
