Personal Statement
Hello there! My name is Hassan, and I am an Egyptian Tennis player. I have started playing tennis at the age of 6. Since I started getting involved in the game, I have always been described as determined, persistent, and hard working on and off court. I have always dreamed of playing tennis at a professional level, especially during my college years, because it would be a life changing experience for me.
Throughout my years as a tennis player, i have thankfully succeeded to maintain a good balance between academics and sports. I have been at the top rank of my age in Egypt from 2011-2015, and have represented my country in many international tournaments, most significantly the Junior World Cup Finals in 2015 (held in Prostejov), and the African Championship in 2015 and 2016.
Concerning academics, i can be labelled as a hard working, teachable student, and i have managed to maintain a decent GPA and SAT Score.
I want to be given a chance to play at collegiate level, where I can prove myself and reveal my true potential. I aspire to be ranked within the top 100 in the next 5-10 years, and I believe college tennis would give me a brilliant head start. I am open and flexible with all options and willing do to what it takes to achieve my goal.
