Personal Statement
My name is Carlos Ferrer. I am from Barquisimeto, Venezuela. I am currently 17 years old. I graduated on last July 2020 and my GPA is 16,70 ( in my country the GPA is until 20).
Since my childhood my dream is to study in the USA as well as to be part of a tennis team.
I am a diciplined boy, I like to work hard for my dreams and I love to play tennis and compete in the highest level possible.
My records my tennis career were :
(14s) I was pre-national selection for the suramerican 2017 in Bolivia.
(16s ) i was number 3 in ranking's Venzuela. I won several regional and national tournaments and I could reach the final in a COSAT tournament G3. (Caracas junior open 2018)
Also, I am currently top ten (ranking's venezuela) in 18s. And I have played a few ITF tournaments. I hope to play more ITF tournaments at the end of 2021.
My highest UTR was 10.5
My UTR has dropped due to inactivity during the covid-19 and lack of tournaments in Venezuela. That's why I am really interested to be part of a tennis team. I'd like to keep improving and developing my tennis skills in college tennis and graduate in my field of study.
