Personal Statement
I am an aspiring tennis player and student from Hong Kong. I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old and have played and competed in local and ITF tennis tournaments in Hong Kong as well as ATFs in Thailand, Korea, and Sri Lanka.
I am a hard working student who is passionate about Economics, Geography and our environment. My other hobbies include Table Tennis, Cricket, reading non-fiction and Geography trivia. I wish to pursue economics or business studies at a college which allows me to continue to improve and play a high level of tennis.
I have embraced my love for tennis at school and my club. In Year 7 and 8 (grade 6 and 7), I played for Island school and helped bring the team from HKSSF division 2 to division 1! Then I transferred to West Island School, where I became captain of the school tennis team. In addition, I play for Hong Kong Football Club league Men's A team and Junior A team. Tennis has been an enriching experience as it has allowed me to travel and make friends across Hong Kong and the world and I would love to continue this experience in college.
