Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Fernando Vazquez, I am from Mexico city. I am looking to continue my studies next fall and study Mechanical engineering. I am a hord working player, I truly believe that when I started competing tennis I was not the most talented person, nevertheless, with hardwork, effort and countless working hours inside and outside the court I have reached a high competitive level. Thias last year has made me a more mature person, traveling constantly to playing ITF junior tournaments without my parents has made myself more indpendent and more capeable of taking some dessicions by my own. Moreover, I think I am a great team player, I played soccer for 6 years and I think that helped me to be a teamwork person, in tennis tournamnets I am always supporting and helping my compannions or my friends I travel with. A year ago a small tournament in my club was made, a tournament by teams, I was selected as captain for one team out of four, my team won and I was named MVP, not really for my effort in the court but for my effort and suporting my teammates outside of the court.
