Personal Statement
Currently training at High Altitude Tennis in Colorado on tennis scholarship. I graduated at Malezi High School, Nairobi Kenya, May 2014. Due to my outstanding and promising tennis abilities. In 2008 I was awarded a full tennis scholarship to attend one of Africa's leading tennis centers Sadili Oval Tennis Academy. Sadili is committed to helping needy children who have unique talents. I was awarded the scholarship from the academy director, senior coach and Malezi School Principal Dr. Elizabeth Odera when she came to carry out a one week tennis clinic in my hometown Kampala, Uganda.
I finished ranked the second seed on the school team after putting up good results both during friendly games and tournament matches. I won the National boys doubles titles for three consecutive years 2011-2013 and finished 3rd in 2010 Nationals boys singles.
As I was growing up, I always had the aspiration of joining college so that I can attain higher levels of knowledge to help build my life and the people around me. Once I get a chance into college, I’m very confident that I will be very resourceful both on and off compass. My other goal is to produce the best results I can for my college no matter what.
My high self-esteem has lifted me high in the skies because of the confidence and self-respect I have within me. I have always been doing some community service at least 14 hours a week. I like doing more research to new things that I always learn to expand my knowledge and being up to dates with any changes in the my environment.
