I am happiest when on the court playing tennis or doing physical activity. I also work hard academically, as well as physically, and would love the opportunity to combine the two. I am very motivated to work hard in both areas, however I find by doing well in one, automatically motivates me to do well in the other.

Although I am English, I have spent time in America and have been able to understand the US college system and the opportunities it provides. I am focused and determined to become a part of it. I have a high number of goals which I wish to achieve. My near term goal is to be accepted into a college tennis team where I can further develop and improve my tennis skills and contribute to results. With a goal to combine my academics and tennis in a high quality and a high intensity environment, I would thrive working with those who can give me expert guidance and direction.

I am fully committed to my goals but recognize I still have a lot to learn. As well as having a strong work ethic, I am keen to learn from those around me, taking the advice on board from coaches, teachers and teammates.

Whilst I am keen to learn, I am also willing to immerse myself in the team environment to support and help others. Hopefully being an international student will bring a positive and different viewpoint to the team. I believe I am a natural leader, who always tries to be the best person and player to help and support those around me. I like to have a positive mind set allowing me to move forward in every situation. I have a high endurance level on and off the court.

Together with my leadership characteristics, I always endeavor to have a positive influence on those I am working and training with. I place a very high importance on friendship. I think that friendship allows everyone to be the best they can be around those with whom they are comfortable.  I believe with the traits that I have, I can make good friendships and relationships with people in and around my team allowing the team and I to do the best we can in every match, practice and class.

I have a high passion for athletic training and nutrition, with this I bring an athletic physique and stand 6ft 1in tall with a mesomorph body type. I have a very high muscular and cardiovascular endurance and love high intensity training on the court and in the gym.

I have been in an English school for 12 years and passed 9 GCSEs in my 11^th year. I am currently studying for my A-level examinations which is a 2 year process. The subjects I am studying are Psychology, Religious Education and Physical Education. Outside of tennis and school I enjoy playing soccer and golf.
