Derian Janeke '19 Recruiting Profile

Being a Student-Athlete is my biggest goal and to obtain an International Degree in Engineering whilst playing tennis will just be amazing.  Setting myself these goals, I have worked very hard academically as well as on the tennis court to apply for a Scholarship.  I have been getting very good Grades since my Primary School years and I am still putting in a lot of time to maintain these good Grades.  I have reached the Provincial Tennis team since my Grade 6 year, and have represented the team every year up to date.  I have also won tournaments in my province as well as in Gauteng. I received the Best Senior Tennis Player of the Year for two consecutive years, as well as the Player’s Player for the Best Sportsmanship during the Big 5 Tennis Tournament in South Africa.
