Personal Statement
Making the decision to focus my attention solely from soccer to tennis was one of my most important and best decisions I made during my highschool career. However I feel that playing so many years of soccer has not been a complete waste. Playing a team sport such as soccer has really helped build my character to never give up and to always keep fighting for my team, a key aspect needed to compete at college level.
I am privileged to be schooling and training at Pretoria Boys High School, an amazing program where you really learn the value of teamwork, commitment and and sacrifice. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically but also a program that competes at the highest level. I believe that I not only have the ability but the work-ethic and leadership skills to make a significant impact in your college team. As a person that has had an immense passion for the sport since a young age, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader in your team!
