William Hammerson-Jones '26 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed and played many sports throughout high school. I was a member of the Winchester College A team in soccer and am a current member of the school’s 1st VI in tennis. We have completed three seasons in a row unbeaten. I am always striving to improve and am always willing to take new advice and implement new strategies into my game so that I can make myself a better player. I believe that my resilient character can give me the edge to become a successful college player, along with my skills in working in a team where camaraderie is important. Additionally, I believe that my academic strength can help me to strive outside of the courts and in the classroom, leading to greater diversity within a college team. I have set my sights on competing on the international circuit and will reflect this determined mentality in my participation at the university level.
