For years, tennis was just a social sport for me. Something that I would be able to get to know people through, however that has recently changed. Since the Summer of 2021, I have been working hard to be good at something. Prior to then, I had been more of a jack of all trades, but I decided then and there that I was going to be focused, I was going to be actually good at something. Tennis was that thing for me. Throughout the summer I got lessons, participated in more than a dozen tournaments, and without a doubt, lost a lot. Even with loss after loss, I kept going, never stopping in my efforts to better myself. So, even though I may have started late, I have yet to hit my peak, I still have the drive, ambition, and hope to grow as a tennis player and a person.
