I would describe myself as a very determined and competitive athlete and student. Working hard is just a part of who I am. I play three different varsity sports soccer, basketball and tennis. Maintaining good grades is very important to me. In addition to taking honors classes and playing sports I also have a job at a restaurant and volunteer. My grandmother first introduced me to tennis when I was in elementary school. I have many memories of playing with her and my grandfather, which will last me a life time. I enjoy playing tennis with my older brother as he is always challenging me. I also like to play with my younger brother, helping him to develop his skills. In my spare time I like to be outside hiking, skiing and camping. Last year I played singles for the first time, and had to play up due to COVID. I only lost one match and was given the MVP award from my coach. Tennis is my favorite sport and I am looking forward to playing more and developing my skills as the team captain this year.
