I have always had a passion for athletics, particularly tennis. Currently I'm a 5'11", 160 pound Junior, and have had many of opportunities to participate in sports. I've played tennis, basketball, and ran track and field in high school. In track and field, I was named "Most Improved" in 2012 and participated at regionals in four events. I have also played on travel baseball teams. I love to be active, challenge myself, and study professional athletes. "Quick, fast, athletic, strategist, dedicated, focused" are words that coaches have used to describe me while under their leadership. I have served as Jr. Captain this year on our Varsity Tennis Team, was named "Most Valuable" on the team, was chosen to attend monthly classes in a "Top Dog" leadership program, and have been awarded "most spirited" at MSU's tennis camp. This past spring, I was inducted into National Honor Society. The most honorable award, other than academic awards, has been an All County First Tennis Team award for two consecutive years as #1 Doubles for my partner and myself last year and #1 singles this year. I am also involved in B-Kom, our school's mentor program, and am on the executive board. In addition, I'm actively involved in Young Life. It is my dream to play college sports. I am interested in many different types of colleges that have a good reputation academically and where I can play tennis as a Freshmen. I will give 110%, bring a sense of pride, demonstrate personal drive, and show dedication to any team. When I attend college, there will be 4 kids in our family in college at the same time. My family will hopefully receive Federal Aid or a Work Study for myself. Currently, I am interested in teaching either Physical Education or Mathematics, or studying engineering. I also want to coach. I am a strong student so I may be open to other options. I am a hard worker, have ongoing goals for myself, and just want to play!!!
