I would describe myself as determined and hard working in academics and sports. One thing that makes me unique is that I had fine motor skill delay from birth up until sixth grade. It created challenges for me with being able to use my fingers. I was able to overcome this with the help of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and sports that helped in developing my upper body strength. Tennis has helped me to enhance my upper body strength and fine motor skills tremendously. I am happy with the progress I have made in the two years I have played. My coaches have told me I have natural skills for tennis and have encourage me to kept at it. I would like to go as far as I can in the sport. I really enjoy playing tennis and would love to be able to play in college. I hope to be able to play in college and go as far as I can in the sport so that maybe one day I can be an inspiration to other children struggling with fine motor skill delay.
