I would greatly enjoy playing tennis in college, as well as receiving a sufficient education. I want to be on a competitive team, but I also want a team that has a good time and supports one another. I would be a good candidate because I have a good attitude, unique play style, and speed on the court. I have managed to maintain a 4.0+ GPA throughout the school year, even while I have marching band and tennis simultaneously in the fall. Two things that set me apart from many high school tennis players are that I was never pressured into playing by parents or coaches and I haven't been taking lessons since I was two years old. In fact, I started in middle school and now I am number two singles at my school. Although my whole life doesn't revolve around tennis, it is still my favorite and most important activity and I devote a lot of time to it.
