Hello, my name is Ethan He and my family and I would like to pursue both my academic and tennis career. My newfound love and passion for this sport has ultimately set me on this endeavor. Tennis is a challenging sport, which motivates me towards being a better athlete mentally and physically. Tennis teaches many fundamental lessons of life, such as the fact that there's always something new to learn about, successes can only be achieved through tough losses, and that it can bring both fun and challenges at the same time. In my high school, my family has taught me how to be responsible, compassionate, persistent and hardworking. This is one reason why I push myself to take rigorous courses but also participate in many school activities. For example, I am an altruistic leader in my High School Band, serving as a Co-Concertmaster. I remain dedicated to my responsibilities and constantly think about how my decisions may affect the people surrounding me. In life, my family has taught me the importance of volunteering and giving back to the community. I also volunteer in my school's Marching band and tutor a Kindergarten student online. Throughout college, I strive to be the athlete that brings positive energy to my teammates, and also strive to excel in my studies. This is why I feel with my musical talent and athleticism in tennis, I will be a valuable asset in any educational institution.
Thank you.
