I started playing soccer and baseball at the age of four and played for clubs and travel leagues until high school. I also earned a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo at age 13. I became interested in tennis when I was in 7th grade and decided to stop my other competitive sports and devote my time to tennis by training at nearby clubs and competing in USTA events. I train with ITT (IsmailTennisTraining.com) 2-4 times a week in the Masters 1000 level, am an assistant coach in the 250-500 level, and am also a substitute in a mens doubles league. I possess a strong sense of leadership on and off the court. As captain of my high school team I schedule practices during the off-season to help the team get better. In order to be a well-rounded athlete and actively participate in my high school experience, I picked up golf my sophomore year. I also enjoy playing tennis every week with Buddy Up Tennis and I've been giving private lessons to younger kids. My academic goals for high school are to graduate with honors in the top 1% of my class. I plan on going to college to study mathematics, data science, statistics and/or economics and continue playing tennis.
