I believe that my physicality and high ceiling in regards to my skill potential are what will help me excel. A positive mindset and a strong attitude will also help me reach my goals. I feel I have made huge strides in my progression due to my passion and work ethic for the game. I played mostly recreational tennis since 9 years old. In the beginning, I played out of my hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario at our local tennis club. My family made a huge commitment when we moved to the Toronto area when I was 15 years old. This helped me to play out of a high-performance tennis academy, along with coaching, proper fitness, and training, to enhance all aspects of my game. My parents sacrificed a lot to help support my passion for playing tennis here in Canada, and for that I am grateful.
I feel very optimistic, I am a huge believer in whatever I set my mind to with hard work and practice, I can achieve anything. I am working hard to build on my weaknesses and refine some of my big weapons. I am confident that I have the ability to perform and win matches that are well beyond my current UTR ranking.
My ultimate goal and dream after my College career are to play and compete one day on the ATP tour. I truly am looking forward to my journey, and up for the challenge of all the hard work it will take both as an athlete and a College student.
