I am a team player and I love to compete in team environments. My friends would describe me as someone that always loves to have a say in any task, and I love to be a leader. I feel that I am suited to be on a team, as I have been on my school cross country team for many years and I love the team aspect. I am also someone who is always looking to help people when they are down, and I try my best to make everyone feel like they have an important role.
I have played high-performance tennis for 8 years now. Nobody in my family actually plays tennis, so I am really the first of my kind. I love the sport and just the idea of getting out and playing makes me so happy. I grew up with a court in my backyard so I go out and play whenever I can in the summer, so I really enjoy the activity of it as well as the competitive side

- I came into the tournament with a not so good overall year on my part and not having many points. Won my first two matches in tight two and three-setters, and then beat the 2nd seed in the quarterfinals after coming back from a set down. In the semis, I beat the 6th seed without dropping a game, which a performance I will remember for a while. - Began this tournament with a tough draw against an eventual 6th place finisher. Made a pretty deep run in consolation beating an up and comer and an established top player, then came up just short in the 4th round. - Won 1 out of my 4 matches in my round robin box, going three sets with the 3rd seed, and a tight two sets with the 2nd seed..... I was able to win my 3rd flight, and overall come 25th of 42 people
