I played a lot of tennis pre-covid at Magarity tennis club, Topsin Tennis camps, and Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center. From 2021-2022, I stopped playing. Even when I began to practice for the high school teams, I did not practice much in the offseason. In Spring of 2023, I had the oppurtunity to compete in the doubles high school tournament. Me and my partner, though we hadn't played together much, were able to make it all the way to the AA states final, where we lost and claimed the runner-up spot. The next offseason, I enrolled again at Legacy Youth Tennis and played frequently with my dad. I am excited for what the future holds, especially in the upcoming spring 2024 season. I want to get back to states and win, and I also am interested in playing tennis for a college in the future. What differentiates me from other players would be my commitment to growth, and faith in the God that has brought me this far. I know he will continue to bring me to new heights no matter how deep the valleys seem at the time.
