My ultimate goal is to play college tennis and get a good education at the same time. I have played tennis almost my entire life, but only recently began seriously competing in USTA tournaments. Over the past year, I have improved my UTR rating by over 2 points and I expect to continue that improvement as I focus more time and attention on tennis. I previously played both soccer and tennis, but I plan to focus on tennis going forward. I play both high school soccer and tennis, and decided to quit club soccer, so that I can further develop my tennis ability year-round. I believe I will keep making these UTR jumps as I dive into more competitive tennis, and I will hopefully reach the double digits by the end of high school. However, I also have a large focus on grades and education which will be a factor in which schools I would like to go to. The ideal scenario is one in which I am able to play college tennis while getting the best education I can, hopefully with the help of my growing tennis ability.
