Starting tennis to have fun with friends and do a sport in the string after Covid 19 interfering with Freshman year, I thought that tennis would be an easy sport that I didn't need to much for. I couldn't have been more wrong. Eventually getting better day by day to going from spot # 14 to spot #4 on the team made me fall in love with the game. I loved the fact that tennis is a sport in which one can improve everyday, wether than be slowly or with great pace. I also loved working everday and seeing that effort pay off when you won against an oppenent you couldn't beat a month ago and have them compliment your new shots and technique. That is what drives me to play and improve everyday, that feeling of winning the that work paying off .I also saw the effort it takes to be a decent player and even play at the collegiate level, and I am ready for the challenge and have already started facing it.
