Tyler Triolo '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a highly motivated student and tennis player, currently in my senior year at Spring-Ford Area High School in Royersford, Pa. I am 6' and play #1 singles on my high school varsity tennis team. I have gone undefeated in league play in my freshman year (at 2nd singles) and sophomore and junior (at 1st singles) years, and won back to back PAC 10 singles championships in 2010 and 2011. I also was named to the All Area 1st team at 1st singles in 2010 and 2011. I am taking both AP and Honors courses, am in the top 10% of my class of 560 and have a 3.83 GPA. I began competing in USTA tournaments when I was 12, and had a sectional ranking of 32 in Middlestates Boys' 16's and #1 in the Phila. Area Tennis District in Boys 16's when I aged up in Nov 2010. Currently I have a ranking of 50 in Boys 18's. My goal is to attend a prestigious academic school where, in addition to obtaining an excellent education, I have the opportunity to play collegiate tennis, which has been a goal I've been working hard to achieve. I am most interested in a program where I am able to make an immediate impact on the team. History, psychology and education are the major/minor areas I would like to study, and I would prefer a mid to smaller sized campus where I could develop close relationships with students/team mates, professors and my coaches. While I am open to any opportunity, a school on or closer to the east coast would be my preference.
