My name is Daniel Kovalchick, and I'm a Christian. I have been playing tennis since the 6th grade and have always wanted to play in college. I have practiced 20 hours a week on average during my four years of high school. I played #3 singles and #2 doubles my freshman year, #2 singles and #1 doubles my sophomore year, and #1 singles and doubles my junior and senior year in high school. God is most important in my life followed by family, academics, and tennis. I am a very hard worker and strive to be the best at what I do. I am very dedicated to tennis and academics. I don't let the cold weather stop me from practicing, and I work hard to get better every day by pushing myself and studying the game. I am a great leader and team player as well, and I would be a great addition to a college tennis team. In college I plan to major in Biology and go into a career in medicine or research. Tennis has been a very big part of my life for years, and I intend to always keep it that way.
