Hi my is Collin Dickey and I love the sport of tennis! My whole family plays and I have been playing since I was 7 years old. The more I played tennis the more found I loved the game as a player and a fan. Tennis has done so much for me as a person in making friends, developing skills, and teaching me how to work in a process to improve myself.
My goal in college is to become the best tennis player I can while I study physical education and learn everything I can to become a coach so I can teach others how to enjoy the game of tennis as well. I have spent my last 3 summers helping with tennis camps at the country club my family belongs to and have really enjoyed this experience with all ages of kids.
As a member of my High School Tennis team I work very hard to become a better play but also love our coaches and team! I enjoy the challenge of the individual aspect of tennis but find even more enjoyment in helping my teammates on and off the courts. I'm excited to finish my Junior and Senior year of high school tennis and find the right college to develop my education of physical education and help a tennis team become our best during our college years together.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement!
