I have played baseball since Little league and love the sport. I enjoy the team aspect and the competitiveness of being out there pitching. I play tennis too and I like it; it is more of an individual sport though and have come to prefer baseball. I have not always been a strong student, preferring sports to books, but that is changing for me with college in the near future. If I am not playing a sport, I hope to one day be a Navy pilot. My dad is a tennis pro at the local county club here so I get my love of sports from him. My mom is a special education teacher and diagnostician, so I hear about the struggles some kids go through every day. I feel lucky in that regard and hope to do some good as I get older. Right now I plan to study hard to keep my grades up and work at at my sport.
