There are 3 things that can be controlled in tennis: effort, attitude, and energy. On the court and off the court, regardless of a good day or bad day, remaining positive and energetic is a principle that I stick to. Playing tennis has become a part of my identity. I have also played soccer and basketball, but tennis remains my go-to activity. Tennis is a way for me to better myself physically and mentally. The independence and teamwork needed to excel in tennis are why I play. I am a great candidate for your college tennis team because I play tennis regularly while also maintaining good academics and other extracurricular activities. My GPA is above 4.0 (from honors and AP classes) and I also take part in BACON (Best Around Club Of Nerds), which is my school’s engineering club. I play tennis because I love the environment, productivity, and self-improvement that come from it more than any other sport.
