I have been playing tennis since I was 5 years old, and I've always loved the sport. When I was young I played baseball, soccer, and tennis, and later on I decided tennis was my choice and I had to give up the 2 others. I think my decision was one of the best ones I've made in my life, and I want to be the best player I can be in this sport. A big goal of mine is to go on the ATP Tour, but college tennis I think is a great opportunity for me in helping me achieve my goals.
I am currently enrolled in the Naval Jr. ROTC Program at Loudoun County High School and I am in my third year (junior). The program has definitely helped me with discipline in my life, in school, and on the court. In class, I manage my time well and have gotten better studying for tests, completing homework, and maintaining a good GPA. Some of my favorite subjects are History and Economics.
Last Summer, I started training with my coach, Misha and I have been more committed and working harder ever since. His coaching style and my effort has shown a big improvement in my game and I know if I keep it up, things will go well. I also train with Ben Leahy at Ashburn Sports Pavilion and I have known him for many years and is someone I can trust. I plan to continue to work hard and be on the court whenever I get the chance.
