I have been told that I am what American tennis needs more of: A pure, natural athlete that chooses to play tennis over bigger sports such as football or basketball. I was a good basketball shooting guard before tennis; did not play football but am big enough to have succeeded at that if it had been my path. I am academically interested in foods and nutritional sciences. For there to be a good match for me, a prospective school must have a Nutritional Sciences program (possbly wrapped within a Sports Sciences program) though the right environment could make me interested in other subjects. I am an excellent team player (10+ years of competitive basketball). I encourage you to contact either or both of my coaches, my dad or Coach Yev, both of whom are listed in the contact info areas. I Prefer schools within the Pacific Northwest, Texas, Arizona, or other areas of the Southwest, preferably a smaller D1, D2, or D3 school with small class sizes. I can string racquets and own a pro-grade machine which I use to string my own and my teammates racquets. I believe in honor, integrity, and authenticity. I thrive on being underestimated and fight for every win! I am also very Scandinavian in my approach to life, meaning that I am minimalist, stoic (yet determined and quietly passionate), and I disdain shameless self promotion, the latter quality I realize is not helpful to the recruiting process. COMMITTED TO ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY FOR 2024-2025 SEASON AND BEYOND.
I am currently at Bellevue College, a JC school in Bellevue, WA with a strong tennis program. Will be looking for a four-year school for the 2024/2025 school year and beyond to complete school and play winning tennis for your school. Ideally, I would like to play for a coach who pushes the team and myself to be better every day as that is what it takes to win league titles and compete for national success.
Won 2023 NWAC conference tournament at my position without losing a game as part of the NWAC conference champion men's team, Bellevue College, which swept the tournament at every position in both singles and doubles.
