Cameron Dubos '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a three sport athlete.  Baseball and wrestling have been my main sports since I was 9. Last year I took second in state in wrestling, one of my biggest accomplishments.  As a freshman I started playing tennis.  Loved the sport.  I started playing more.  My sophomore year made varsity and played second seed all season missed regionals by one match.  This was not acceptable to me. I practiced more, joined our local club tennis club and started going to high school drills offered by the tennis pro.  My junior year started at second seed, challenged and by the third match beat the 1st seed, stayed the first seed and went undefeated in league.  District received 2nd, Regionals 5th.  I didn't get far at state last year went two and out.  Decided not to play baseball last summer and commit to tennis.  Played in two tennis summer leagues in between wrestling.  I know there are great tennis players out there that started like me in wrestling at 9.  I am asking for a chance to be part of a program.  I am a competitor.  I set high goals for myself and want to be around competitive and committed players.  I try to be a valuable teammate.  I am serious about practice and training.  To be able to wrestle or play tennis in college would be a great opportunity.
