Senior year has been the best season for me personally and for my team. As a team we finished as league champions. That is a first for my high school. I had an undefeated league season and finished as the 3A West District singles champion. That’s another first for any player from my high school. I will compete in the state tournament in May of 2023. As co-captain senior year, I motivated and encouraged my teammates every day, and along with my teammates, created a fierce and positive team environment.
My goal for college tennis is to play and compete at the highest level possible. I want to continue to grow my game in every aspect. There is always more to learn and more to achieve. I’ve competed in matches that were highly intense and competitive for three plus hours and found my energy and stamina did not waiver. I am very coachable and strive to learn at every corner. I am calm under pressure and do not lose focus regardless of the score. Sportsmanship as well as character is very important to me while representing my school and myself on and off the court. I have a quiet confidence and strong work ethic in the classroom and in everything I do. I believe that having the complete package athletically and academically includes having strong morals and values, and that being a good and humble person matters. I desire a positive and focused, goal oriented team environment with teammates that build each other up and a coach that inspires and challenges every student athlete to be their best self.
