My name is Finn and I play tennis at Mercer Island High School in Washington State. Before I discovered tennis, I tried many different sports in hopes of finding one I was truly passionate about. My first tennis experience was a week-long tennis camp when I was 7 years old. I quickly learned that this is something I wanted to pursue. I love the physical and mental challenge. I started doing private lessons in 8th grade, which prepared me for earning a spot on my deeply talented High School Tennis Team – we are perennial Regional and State Champions. I now play 3-4 times a week. I am equally committed to both tennis and academics. I intend to maintain this focus throughout high school and college.
