Jacob Block '19 Recruiting Profile

    I have been running both track and cross country since I was in middle school and have always enjoyed competing. I have a true passion for the sport and plan to be a lifelong runner.

    I have been a varsity athlete for three years now and have recently stepped into a leadership position. I am coach-able and willing to train hard and put in work throughout the off season. I have been successful in the classroom so far and am willing to work hard in both academics and athletics. 

    After high school I would like to continue to compete and further my athletic career in track and cross country at the collegiate level. I understand how to balance both academic and athletic hard work through dedication and sacrifice. I love to race and compete and hope to find somewhere i can succeed in both earning a degree and running track/cross country.
