Track and field is what I love. I have played pretty much every sport growing up, and always did very well at them, but when I discovered throwing, I really fell in love. I look forward to throwing in college and beyond. I plan to get my teaching degree so I can teach High School and coach throwing. I love that track and field is both an individual sports as well as a team sport. I love working with a team. My teammates have become like family to me. We work together, laugh together and grow and get better together. I have such great respect and gratitude to my coach, coach Freeman, he has taught me so much and I love learning more and improving every day. I look forward to working with amazing coaches in the future who will help me become my best. I'm very eager and receptive to learning. I'm a very social and friendly guy, getting along with others is easy for me. I have found there is good in everyone and everyone can teach you something. I try to help out others as much as I possibly can. I love watching my teammates succeed, and encouraging them. I work hard and have a positive look on things. I try hard to be excuse free. I have slow, but good form which shows that I have a lot of improvement for when I speed up my form.
Here's the thing, I don't have the best grades. I have no excuses for it. I wish I could go back and do things different, but of course I can't. I have not been as focused on my grades and disciplining myself in that area like I should. My senior year will be better. Although I haven't been as disciplined in school, I am very disciplined and driven on the field. I love being active and playing all different sports. I spend most of my spare time on track and field, or doing other active things. When I get home from practice I go over and work on my form. I give it my all every day because it truly is what I love. I don't do any drugs, vape, alcohol, or anything like that, and never have. I even use good language. I try every day to serve other people and to make others day, even if just by making them smile or laugh. This may not seem like it relates to sports, and maybe it doesn't, but it is who I am.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am committed to giving everything I have and excelling in my sport.
