Hi my name is Gabriel Fernandez and I live in Tucson, Az. I live with my parents and two brothers one older and one younger than me, their names are Uriel and Ismael, my parents names are Ana and Omar Fernandez. What makes me a good canidate in teams, is that im a hard working athlete always pushing myself to become better on and off the track & field. In practices I'am always ready for the workouts my coaches give me and I would give it 110% on my workouts. I'm always practicing on my form and my blocks so I can get a better feeling of how I'm suppose to be down the blocks and off the blocks. What makes me different is that I'am only 5ft and I run the 100m in 11.85 but hand time, elitrical time is 12.00 or 12.40. The 200m I run it in 25.50 both elictrical and hand time. Long I jump 17ft8inches and thats not that bad for a 16 year old at 5ft tall jumping that far and running that fast. But there is always room for improvement and I will work on everything that I have to improve on. I also run the 4×100m i could run any leg but I run the first leg because I have good start off the blocks and I run the curve pretty good to, our 4×100m relay time was 44.75 we barely missed state, and that was the fastest my team and I ran for the relay. I also run for a track & field club team this summer was my first time in a club team for track & field. I even play soccer, to keep me in good shape and condition.
