I am an person i may fall but i try my best.
I try to be well rounded in everything i do.
I also run cross country.
I am almost done with my A.S in ag business, with my dual enrollment under Bakersfield College.
Why do I run?
My running story - My story starts before i was born. Mom was the top runner in her team, Mcfarland High school, she was always doing anything to stay out of the house. Then she went to Bakersfield community college and ran for pam kelly, an outstanding supporter of anything me my mom or my little sister dose. she helped train my mom who later had to drop out because she had me and the fact was that it was to hard for my mom and dad to support us three and go to school. fast forward about five years after i was born. xc season in McFarland is one of the most pried full times around here. the Little kids running, the HS XC team going and running for miles on end, the HS Basketball team, and girls volleyball team all doing there thing at the same time. At five years old I was aloud to join the Park and Recreation XC. I got to run with some of the most known XC runners from McFarland Melecio Gonzalez, Devianna Salcedo, Kayli Gonzales, Hilda Gonzalez, Marcos Mulato, and almost all the People from the movie McFarland USA even Mr. White. I ran to the best I could , usually top 5. then I saw a chance that almost no kids get to take, free college classes, music classes and the chance to go to a school that almost no one knew my family. a new start. So instead of following my class to McFarland Middle school I went to Paramount academy and now is known as Wonderful college prep academy. Classes were HARD, to say the least, all classes were taught a grade a head. 6th grade dose 7th grade work all the way up to 12th grade doing college work in a high school setting. then came the fact there was no sports for middle school. I wanted to cry when i found out there was no sports but thankfully m kindergarten teacher was the XC coach at the Mcfarland Park and Recreation, so when she heard Wonderful had no sports i was welcomed back with warm arms and got to run with everyone I grew up with. Although I was no longer at the same level as them, due to taking a year off with no sports, I did my best. Then came HS, the first year i could run at wonderful and no longer at the Park and Recreation. I took to it like a fish in water, I out ran most of my team and made it to state. the next year I became the Men's team captain. I pushed everyone to do there best, and have been ever scents. Now i am on the last year of being team captain, and proud of the Amazing runners I have seen grow at Wonderful. Even threw injuries, shin splints, Home drama, Stress of school, and New coaches every year we have proven to survive.
