NCS Meet of Champ...Personal Statement
I started throwing as a freshman and developed an interest due to my coach at that time. He was a friend and a mentor and played a significant role in my personal and athletic development and contributed to me becoming the school MVP. I continued in the sport in my sophomore and junior year even though we didn't have a coach as I really wanted to participate and also help my team in meets. I would like to continue being a student-athlete in college and continue contributing to my team.
I am interested in being part of a community and also continue to throw and support the athletic program. I have always been interested in entrepreneurship both from the experience of my father who is an entrepreneur and has lived through the challenge of building a business and also from my desire to solve problems. In school, I have worked for the City of Fremont for the last two years, interned at Nestle and also was part of the regional DECA championships.
